Garrett Shull talks baseball.
Enid High School sophomore Garrett Shull enjoyed a great freshman season and is looking forward to taking the field this year with his Plainsmen teammates. Head coach Brad Gore said of Shull, “He led the team in homeruns, RBIs and stolen bases last year and is committed to Oklahoma State University.”
We talked Shull into pausing for a minute to answer a few questions about his teammates and being a student-athlete at Enid High School.
VYPE: Garrett, how long have you been playing the game of baseball?
Shull: I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember. My entire life I have loved the game and everything about it.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates at Enid?
Shull: My teammates mean the world to me. I really enjoy being able to come to the field every day and just be around some of the best people I know.
VYPE: What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at Enid?
Shull: The best thing about being a student-athlete at Enid high is the friendships I’ve made along the way whether it’s in the weight room, in the classroom, or on the field.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Shull: In my free time I enjoy hunting and fishing.
