Asher is a freshman who has been working hard in the offseason to get better. He is consistent and an outstanding competitor.
Jakobi Moulder – Waukomis Boys
He is putting in the work on both football and cross country and bettering his time every single time he steps on the course. He has set his goals high and he is reaching every single one he makes. At his first meet, he broke the school record for the two mile run. Not only does he do great on the course, but he is a good teammate.
Rori Wood – Waukomis Girls
Rori is a sophomore and ready to beat her times and school records she set last year. She is putting in the work, battling a grueling softball schedule and practices, she is coming before school and getting better every day.
CHEER
Emmaleigh Pendleton – OK Bible Academy
Emmaleigh is a third year varsity cheerleader. She has stepped up to embrace the role of captain for the varsity cheer squad this year. She is demonstrating quality leadership skills and loves cheer.
Hadlee Merritt – Pond Creek-Hunter
Hadlee is a great cheerleader. She is someone who gives her all on the sidelines. You can feel her energy up into the stands and her smile is contagious as she cheers.
Paizleigh Gordon – Watonga
Paizleigh has vibrant energy and exceptional leadership skills which have made her a standout on the Watonga High School varsity cheer team. Her bubbly personality and unwavering positive attitude not only inspire her teammates but also light up every room she enters, making her a motivator both on and off the sidelines.
Abigail Overstreet – Waukomis
Abigail is the junior captain this year and she showed great leadership over the summer in preparing the girls for a great year. She is always representing Waukomis to her best ability and cheering in her team with enthusiasm and has great passion for her school.
VOLLEYBALL
Kristen Frank – Hennessey
Kristen is a 3-year starter for Hennessey. She has gotten stronger over the off-season. She is a great student-athlete and a great leader on the team.
Brianna Colby – OK Bible Academy
Brianna has been a starter since her sophomore year, but also saw significant action as a freshman. Her effort and intensity set the tone for the whole squad. In 2023 she not only led the team in kills, but also in digs, making her vital both offensively and defensively. She is a tremendous leader on the team, and is also the school StuCo President.
