Hudson Plummer is a senior at Enid High School. His faith is an important part of his life and he says that being a part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization has helped him not only be a stronger Christian, but also a better person.

“My relationship with Christ and FCA has shaped me as a person. I grew up in the church going every Sunday and I go to every FCA event I can, all those experiences have ultimately made me be the best version of myself, and without these experiences I would be a completely different person.”

Plummer had been aware of FCA but says that he decided to join because of some of his friends. And during his time in the program, there is one memory that stands out as his favorite.

“I joined FCA because a few of my friends wanted to become leaders,” he said. “So when I saw I had an opportunity to help kids at school grow closer to God I took it. I think my favorite FCA memory is at Fields of Faith this year when I got to watch one of my friends, who I never thought I would see talking in front of such a big group, give his testimony.”

As a member of FCA, Hudson wants to see the group continue to grow. And in order to do that, he knows he has to do his part.

“The impact that FCA has had on me is that I should just keep inviting people to come even if they tell me no multiple times,” he said. “Because there is always a chance that they will come eventually.”

There are people in Hudson’s life that have helped shape him into the person that he is today and that he will be in the future. But he says that there is one person that has been the most impactful.

“My biggest influence is probably my dad because he has showed me how I should live my life,” he stated.
